Situated a mere 800 miles from the North Pole at 78 degrees, it lies further north than any point in mainland Russia, Canada and Alaska. This expedition offers the opportunity to master both historical and modern techniques of Arctic travel, utilising traditional dog sleds and contemporary snowmobiles to traverse Svalbard's breathtaking landscapes.
